Our Memberships

Azzopardi, Borg & Abela Advocates are proud to state that we are a member of various notable legal organisations such as the IBA, the Chamber of Advocates, and the European Criminal Bar Association. We believe that membership in these groups enhances and betters our legal acumen, and that we provide a better service as a result of our international connections.

Bar Association

Established in 1947, the International Bar Association is a first-class organisation of legal practitioners, bar associations, and law societies.

Chamber of
Advocates, Malta

With over 800 lawyers registered as members, the Chamber of Advocates negotiates with the government and other regulation authorities on behalf of its members.

European Criminal
Bar Association

The European Criminal Bar Association is an independent organisation of specialist defence lawyers within Council of Europe countries.

International Criminal Bar Association

The International Criminal Bar was formed in 2002 and has since become critically important for championing international criminal justice and defending lawyer interests worldwide.

Corporate Social Responsibility

Azzopardi, Borg & Abela Advocates strongly believe in championing important causes close to home, and that is why we take our corporate social responsibility very seriously. Here are a few of the organisations that we take a hands-on approach to their success:

The Scout
Association of Malta

The Scout Association of Malta was established in 1908 and remains a formative part of many youths’ lives today.

Victim Support

Victim Support Malta is a non-governmental organisation that supports and assists victims of crime through the provision of emotional support, overcoming trauma, and providing legal information.

Local band clubs support their parishes through fundraising and charity. Two of the band clubs we support are Għaqda MuŻikali Madonna ta Lourdes San Ġwann, and the Soċjeta' Mużikali Peace Naxxar.
